Uncover the wonders of this fascinating country on a small group tour. Visit raging waterfalls, game rich plains and go trekking in search of chimpanzee and gorillas.
Day 1 - Arrive Entebbe
You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel where you can get to know the rest of your group.
Day 2 - Murchison Falls National Park
Drive to the Ziwa Rhino Ranch, home to the only wild rhinos in Uganda, before continuing to Murchison Falls National Park.
On day 3 there is boat cruise to view the magnificent falls where the White Nile crashes through a narrow gorge, with a chance also to see hippos, crocodiles, plains game and bird life. Return to the lodge for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive.

Day 4 - Murchison Falls National
A morning game drive takes you to the point where the Victoria Nile passes through the northern tip of Lake Albert to become the Albert Nile. Noticeable wildlife in the region includes elephant, buffalo, giraffe, hartebeest, oribi and possibly even lion and leopard. This evening finish the day with a wine and cheese sunset cruise.

Day 5 - Kibale Forest
Depart for Kibale National Park via the Albertine Escarpment of the western Rift Valley, passing through countryside with traditional homesteads.
After a comfortable night and an early breakfast, you will be taken to the visitor centre for a short briefing before starting your trek in search of chimpanzees in the forest. Return to the lodge for lunch and an afternoon guided walk in Bigodi Swamp to look out for the colourful birdlife including Kingfisher and Blue Throated Roller.

Day 7 - Queen Elizabeth National Park
Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda's most popular tourist destination with its diverse ecosystems, including sprawling savannah, shady forests, sparkling lakes and fertile wetlands. Enjoy some game viewing en route if time permits, before an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel.
Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge
Day 8 - Bwindi National Park
Drive through the Ishasha sector of the Park, famous for its tree climbing lions, en route to Bwindi National Park. Upon arrival this afternoon, there is free time to relax or try an optional activity.
The next day head to the park headquarters for a briefing before entering the forest to start your gorilla trek. Once found, your group will spend an hour watching these fascinating primates.

Day 10 - Lake Mburo
Today the group departs Bwindi to drive to Lake Mburo National Park for an afternoon boat cruise. One of the country's smaller parks, this wetland habitat is nonetheless home to 350 bird species, zebra, buffalo, waterbuck, leopard and hippo.
Overnight at Mantana Tented Camp
Day 11 - Farewell
Depart Lake Mburo and drive to Kampala with a stop if time permits, for curio shopping and photos at the Equator.
