Karafuu Hotel

The hotel is located on a glorious beach on the east coast of Zanzibar and is around 40 minutes from Stone Town. Built in a traditional style and with a great range of facilities it offers a truly relaxing environment for your holiday.

Bluebay Beach Resort

The resort lies on Zanzibar’s east coast at Kiwenga right on a wonderful long stretch of white sand beach. Out to sea the resort is surrounded by coral reef making it perfect for snorkelling and diving.

It’s around half an hour by car to the capital Stone Town which is a great place to explore if you can tear yourself away from the beach. The accommodation is scattered through pretty tropical gardens and there are good range of facilities to suit visitors of all ages.

Kichanga Lodge

This charming African style lodge lies on the South East coast of Zanzibar facing a stunning stretch of white sand beach. You are approximately a one hour drive to Stone Town and the airport.  The beach cottages are set in pretty gardens and the quiet location makes this a wonderfully romantic place to stay.
Whether your choice of to be active or to simply relax you’ll find something to suit you. There is a PADI dive centre and a traditional wooden massage hut right on the beach. If you’re feeling active you can ride mountain bikes along the beach before coming back to the shade of a palm tree to soak up the sun.

Accommodation – The thatched chalets all have views of the sea and are set in the gardens just a short distance from the beach, each has ceiling fan, safe, minibar and outside terrace.

The Seyyida - Stone Town

A charming 17 room hotel located in the heart of Stone Town, you’re right next door to the Palace Museum which is a former residence of the Zanzibari royal family and just a short walk from many of the city sights such as the Old Fort and Forodhani Garden.

The Seyyida mixes old world charm with modern facilities; you’ll find cool courtyard gardens and a mix of colonial and Arabic decor which reflects the different influences in Zanzibar. The rooftop restaurant has fabulous views over the Indian Ocean and is a great place to spend your evening dining under the stars.

Serena Inn – Stone Town

This offers a great addition to a beach stay and especially suited to those who want to explore the Zanzibar’s fascinating capital. Discover winding narrow streets, harbours with traditional dhows, old slave markets and night bazaars. The hotel has been painstakingly restored and reflects the wonderful blend of culture and style which the island is famous for.

You’ll find old clocks, crystal chandeliers and carved staircases making it seem like an Aladdin’s cave of treasures. Though not on the beach it is surrounded by sparking blue water and the sundeck is ideal for topping up the tan. This makes a great combination with one of our other resorts on the East Coast.
