Day 1 - On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport you will be met and transferred to your accommodation. The rest of the day is yours to relax, unwind and prepare for your safari adventure. In the evening meet up with your fellow travellers for dinner. Overnight at Mt. Meru Game Lodge.

Day 2 - After breakfast head off to Tarangire National Park which is approximately 3 hours from Arusha stopping to have a picnic lunch along the way. In the afternoon head out on your first game drive, the park is famous for its large elephant population so be sure to have your camera with you. In the evening swap tales of your big game adventures with other travellers and prepare for another thrilling day. Overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge. 
 

Day 3 - After breakfast head for Lake Manyara, a journey that will take approximately 2 hours. Stop for lunch at the Manyara Serena Lodge with its amazing lake view before descending the escarpment for an afternoon game drive. Overnight at Manyara Serena Lodge.


Day 4 - After breakfast travel to the Serengeti National Park which is approximately 4 hours away. After lunch enjoy a game drive in the park and take in the views of the wide open plains that have thrilled travellers and travel writers for generations. You are sure to see some of Africa’s big 5 today so don’t forget to take binoculars and camera. Spend two nights at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

Day 5 - Spend a full day in the Serengeti with a picnic lunch. This part of the country is considered to be a real highlight. Famed not only for the annual wildebeest migration but also for its wide open plains, prolific game and quite spectacular scenery. 

Day 6 - In the morning take an early game drive before heading towards the world famous Ngorongoro Crater. En route you will stop at Olduvia Gorge which is famous as the spot where palaentologists Louis and Mary Leakey discovered some of the earliest remains of mankind. In the afternoon experience the breathtaking beauty and fantastic game in the crater. Return to Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 - After breakfast head out on a full day game drive in the crater. With its diverse scenery and plentiful wildlife it’s not hard to see why wildlife enthusiasts rate this as one of the top destinations in Africa, no surprise that it is also of the seven natural wonders of the world. This will be a truly remarkable day or wildlife viewing and taking in the scenery.

Day 8 - Today your safari comes to an end as you travel back to Arusha. If time permits have lunch before heading to the airport for your onward flight. You may like to add some days relaxing on the beaches of Zanzibar for a few days before returning home.
