Day 1 - Drive north from Johannesburg to Pretoria, capital of South Africa. After lunch descend into the lush sub tropical 'lowveld' region of Mpumalanga.
Day 2 - Visit the old mining village of Pilgrim’s Rest, before travelling on to Kruger via God’s Window and the magnificent Blyde River Canyon. The views are spectacular.
Day 3 - Transfer to open vehilcles today for a full day's safari in the Kruger National Park. Look out for elephant, rhino, giraffe, zebra, lion and leopard as well as all sorts of other wildlife and native birds.
Day 4 - After a second night in the Park, travel to the tiny Kingdom of Swaziland and experience some traditional African culture. Visit the vibrant market in the capital city Mbabane, just the place to pick up a souvenir.
Day 5 - Leave Swaziland and head into Zululand, to the town of St Lucia, a World Heritage Site and home to hippo, crocodile and many unique species of bird. Relax or take an optional game drive into Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park.
Day 6 - This morning enjoy a cruise on Lake St Lucia before following the fertile KwaZulu-Natal coastline south to Durban.
