Day 1 - Depart from Cape Town along the scenic Route 62 through the town of Montagu and visiting the pretty farming community of Barrydale. Enjoy a tour of a working ostrich farm at Oudtshoorn before your overnight stop there.

Day 2 - This morning go underground to marvel at the icy formations in the Cango Caves, one of South Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders. Travel through the impressive Outeniqua Pass and magnificent forest and mountain scenery as you head to your overnight stop at Knysna.

Day 3 - This morning cruise Knysna's tidal Lagoon for a visit to the Featherbed Nature Reserve. This natural wildlife habitat offers some amazing views over the marshes, beaches and sandstone cliffs that surround it. In the afternoon enjoy the art galleries, craft shops and coffee bars of Knysna.

Day 4 - Continue eastwards through the towering Tsitsikamma Forest with a chance to stop and stroll under the canopy of trees. The Garden Route and your journey end at Port Elizabeth, capital of the Eastern Cape, or you can extend your Highlights tour with a stay at one of our exciting Eastern Cape game lodges.
