Day 1 Cederberg region
Leaving Cape Town this morning there is a photo opportunity of Table Mountain, before travelling to the Cederberg region, known for the Rooibos bush which produces the popular healthy alternative to tea. Later, some wine tasting, and a traditional dinner offer an opportunity to get to know your fellow travellers.

Day 2 Orange River
Travel through the Namaqualand region which is famous for its wild flower display that turns the desert into a riot of colour between July and September. Continue north and cross over the border into Namibia to arrive at the camp on the banks of the Orange River.

Day 3 Fish River Canyon
The Orange River is the longest in South Africa and offers a unique contrast to the desert landscape and an optional canoe trip is a great way to experience it. Venturing north into the desert a visit is made to the spectacular and stark Fish River Canyon, the deepest in Africa, before an overnight at Ais-Ais where the hot springs are a great spot to indulge in a swim under the desert skies.

Day 4 Sossusvlei &
Today venture deeper into the Namib Desert as the tour heads to Sossusvlei, passing sparsely populated farms along the way. One of Namibia's iconic landscapes, the constantly shifting sand dunes are sculptured by the winds to provide picture-postcard views.
The next day, start early for a climb up Dune 45, a landmark that offers the perfect vantage point to marvel at the endless sea of red sand. Continue deeper into the dune fields by 4WD to the pans of Sossusvlei and Deadvlei before a final stop at Sesriem Canyon.

Day 6 Swakopmund
Heading for the coast, the tour crosses the Tropic of Capricorn as it makes its way to the town of Swakopmund with a stop in Walvis Bay to catch a glimpse of the Flamingo's that feed in the lagoon.
The next day is at leisure to relax on the beach, explore the town with its coffee shops and tasty bakeries or take part in one of the adrenaline activities for which Swakopmund is famous for.

Day 8 Skeleton Coast &
This morning travel a section of the famous Skeleton Coast, before heading inland towards Spitzkoppe. This massive granite formations towers 700 metres above the desert plains and contains rock art from the indigenous San people which will be explored with a local guide.

Day 9 Himba tribes
Continue north this morning to meet members of the Himba, a semi-nomadic tribe who are the traditional inhabitants of this part of Namibia but sadly dwindling in numbers. They will give a fascinating insight into their lifestyle and traditions with a chance to purchase some souvenirs at the end of the visit.

Day 10 Etosha National Park
Rising early you will head to Etosha National Park where some of the most unique game viewing in Africa takes place. The rest of the day is used to explore the edges of Etosha Pan in search of the abundant wildlife from the elevated position of the safari truck. In the evenings spend time at the floodlit waterhole of the camp which is a major draw for a variety of wildlife.
A second day in Etosha is used to further explore the park giving additional opportunities to see some of the magnificent wildlife which include rhino, elephant and lion.

Day 12 Windhoek
A final game drive this morning as you head towards the gate on the way to Windhoek, the capital city of Namibia. There is a short walking tour of some of the city landmarks.

Day 13 Ghanzi
Travel east today towards neighbouring Botswana and the Kalahari Desert. The San people have long been associated with this harsh environment and tonight you will enjoy a dance evening that provides an insight into their culture of song, dance and story-telling.

Day 14 Okavango Delta
This morning board your flight to the Okavango Delta excursion. This unique and unusual ecosystem sees the annual flood waters of the Okavango River fan out into the sands of the Kalahari Basin. The seasonality of the flood waters lends the Delta its ever-changing character. While water levels may fluctuate the tranquillity of this wilderness area remains constant.
A second day in the Delta will give you the opportunity to fully explore this natural wonder.

Day 16 Maun
Leaving the Delta behind, enjoy your scenic flight to Maun and some free time to relax.

Day 17 Nata
Travel across the northern reaches of the Makgadikgadi Pans, if you are lucky you may encounter some of the wildlife that roams this vast protected area.

Day 18 Chobe National Park
An early start to continue north to your camp on the banks of the Chobe River. This afternoon is set aside for exploring the Chobe National Park allowing you an up close and personal experience with the many elephants that frequent the river in the afternoons. The afternoon ends with a leisurely boat cruise and a meal served around the campfire.

Day 19 Victoria Falls
Today cross the border into Zimbabwe where you will enjoy a visit to the spectacular Victoria Falls, also known by the local name of "Mosi-oa Tunya" (the smoke that thunders). While much of today is dedicated to viewing the mighty Zambezi River as it drops into the Batoka Gorge below, the town of Victoria Falls also offers a range of optional activities, craft markets and coffee shops.

With many activities on offer in Victoria Falls, today is the perfect day for the adventure that most suits your style. Whether rafting the mighty Zambezi River or enjoying a flight over the Falls, this is your day to enjoy the many attractions on offer in Victoria Falls.
