Protea Hotel Kruger Gate

The hotel sits on the banks of the Sabie River just a short distance from the Paul Kruger Gate entrance to the park. It’s approximately half an hour from Hazyview or around four hours drive from Johannesburg.

This classic colonial style hotel is due to open in early 2009 and is set amongst the sweet Mango trees of the original Casterbridge Farm in White River. Kruger National Park is just 30 minutes away giving easy access to the spectacular wildlife.

The nearby Casterbridge centre is located next to the hotel where you will find a whole selection of different restaurants as well as art galleries and gift shops. You are also conveniently located approximately half an hour from Nelspruit and just around an hour from Hazyview and Sabie.
