Mimosa Lodge - Montagu

The lodge lies in the heart of the pretty country village of Montagu and is ideally placed for exploring the area and makes a great stop at the start of the Garden Route. Set in lovely gardens the historic building has been sympathetically restored by its owners.

Within easy reach is the Mount Eco nature reserve with its undulating terrain, dry river beds and forests. You can also make 4WD trips into Little Karoo which gives splendid views over Montagu’s vineyards and orchards.

Accommodation – The rooms are attractively furnished and have private bathrooms with bath and shower, ground floor rooms have a terrace leading to the gardens whilst upper floors have a balcony.

Facilities – There is a swimming pool, restaurant serving some of the best food of the region, library and delightful gardens.

Bloom Estate - Swellendam

The guesthouse sits just outside the charming town of Swellendam in its own large grounds, the attractive rooms are spread through the gardens and offer very high standards in comfort and privacy.

If you are planning to explore the area there are many attractions within a short drive. Hiking in the Marloth Nature Reserve, a round of golf at Swellendam Golf Course or you may like to simply just relax by the pool.

Set in the glorious countryside surrounding Oudtshoorn, the lodge offers beautiful country style accommodation in restored farm buildings. The immaculate gardens and hearty food are definitely one of the highlights of a stay here.

The charming village of Wilderness sits right in the heart of the Garden Route and makes a perfect stopping of point along the way. The hotel is well located for exploring the area and you will find hiking trails, canoe trips and mountain bike trails in the forest are all within easy reach.

Set in attractive gardens Palms is a real oasis of calm and perfect for relaxation. Relax by the pool, spend the day at the beach or play a round of golf at a nearby course, there really is something for everyone.

Belvidere Manor - Knysna

The hotel is located approximately 10 minutes drive from the town centre and is close to the lovely beaches of Goukamma Nature Reserve. The attractive grounds have fabulous sea views and the gardens are home to many different species of bird.

Golfers are well catered for with a couple of course within easy reach whilst nature lovers will be able to explore the nearby national parks. The charming setting and warm hospitality has long been a firm favourite with visitors and you are sure of a memorable and relaxing stay.

Accommodation – The rooms are in cottages spread throughout the grounds and are all spacious and have fireplace, fully fitted kitchen, television, ceiling fan and terrace or balcony.

Facilities – There is a restaurant, pub, swimming pool, gift shop and a tennis court.

Knysna Hollow - Knysna

The hotel is set in its own secluded country estate within easy reach of Knysna Lagoon. There is plenty to keep you busy including exploring Tsitsikamma National Park, whale and dolphin watching in season, boat trips, Featherbed Nature Reserve as well as the beautiful beaches.

The vibrant waterfront in Knysna has a whole array of shops, cafés and restaurants to discover. The hotel is located just a short distance from the town centre in its own private gardens.

Periwinkle Lodge - Plettenberg Bay

This attractive guest house sits on the beachfront at Plettenberg Bay and offers panoramic views of Robberg Beach and the Tsitsikamma range of Mountains. If you are lucky you might be able to see whales and dolphins frolicking in the waves.

You are just a short distance from the lovely golden beaches and many of the areas natural attractions. You will soon see why the town is known as ‘The Pearl of the Garden Route’.

Hog Hollow - Plettenberg Bay

The hotel is set in its own private nature reserve right on the edge of a forest and just a short distance from Plettenberg Bay. There are simply wonderful views of the Tsitsikamma Mountains from the grounds and the whole place has a relaxing feel.

This is a great base to explore the surrounding area, however due to the location outside the town centre we do recommend that you have a hire car.

Accommodation – The rooms are attractively furnished in an African style and have hammocks, sundeck, minibar and music system.

Facilities – There’s a dining room, sundeck, swimming pool, sauna and walking trails.

The Beach Hotel - Port Elizabeth

The hotel is just a short walk from the beach and close to the casino and entertainment complex with a good selection of shops and restaurants. There are also some interesting museums in the city including Bayworld which also has an aquarium and snake park and the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum.

Alternatively spend your days relaxing on the beach or settle down and admire the view from the sundeck. Excellent service and good quality accommodation make this an ideal choice for a stay in the city.

Facilities – There’s a choice of restaurants and a bar, swimming pool and sun terrace.

Courtyard - Port Elizabeth

Located on Marine Drive in the Boadwalk Casino and Entertainment complex and right opposite the beach, the hotel offers a good value for money base for a stay in the city.

Explore the town aboard the Apple Express, a steam train which offers day trips to nearby Thornhill and travels over the highest narrow gauge railway bridge in the world! You will find all the shops and restaurants you need within a short distance plus the airport is around 10 minutes away.

Accommodation – Studios and one bedroom apartments are all air conditioned and have telephone, television and kitchenette.

Facilities – There is a launderette, parking, swimming pool and attractive garden, you can also arrange a shopping service with a local supermarket to stock up on essentials.
