Garden Route and Eastern Cape
Travel along South Africa's Garden Route to enjoy one of the most iconic journeys in the world. You'll find secluded beaches, charming coastal towns and quite breathtaking mountain and forest scenery.
The usual approach to the Garden Route is from Cape Town, via Swellendam or on the famous Route 62 across the arid and starkly beautiful Little Karoo. The towns of Montagu and Oudtshoorn are well worth exploring before dropping down to the coast through the impressive Outinequa Pass.
