In the North East of Kwazulu-Natal, not far from Hluhuwe, lies the 14000ha private game reserve of Thanda. Once marginal grazing land, this beautiful hilly landscape has been turned into a thriving game reserve where the big 5 now roam. Game drives are accompanied by expert trackers who ensure the best animal sightings – perhaps a pack of wild dogs, the endangered black rhino or a cheetah to name a few!

 

Fifteen minutes from Main Lodge, Tented Camp is unfenced offering that wild, authentic 'under canvas' safari experience. At night paraffin lamps and a boma fire light the way, to add to that natural bush ambience.
Accommodation large Safari style tents with four poster beds, en suite canvas bathrooms and beautiful views of the surrounding reserve.  
Facilities intimate dining tent, lounge, plunge pool.  
Price includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, selected drinks and game activities.
