Day 1 - Fly from London or your nearest regional airport to Johannesburg for the start of your South Africa Grand Tour. Flights are overnight with complimentary food, drink and the latest films.

Day 2 - You will be met at Johannesburg airport and transferred to the Garden Court Hotel, so you can have time to relax and be ready for the start of your tour.

Day 3 - Depart Johannesburg and travel along the Panorama Route via the spectacular Blyde River Canyon. Admire the view from God’s Window before arriving at your hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 4 - Head off to the Kruger National Park today for an open vehicle safari in search of lion, elephant, rhino and other big game which make the Kruger so famous. Relax in the afternoon or take an optional game drive before dinner.  
 
Day 5 - Leave the Kruger after breakfast for a scenic drive to the Kingdom of Swaziland. Travel through the capital city, Mbabane, known for its vibrant markets, before a night in the beautiful Ezulwini Valley.

Day 6
- Enjoy a morning visit to a Swazi Candle Factory before travelling on into KwaZulu-Natal. In the afternoon you’ll drive up the Ubombo Mountains, with views over Lake Jozini, and visit an authentic Zulu homestead.

Day 7 - Today, travel to Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve for a thrilling full day of game viewing. The reserve covers a combined area of 90,000 hectares and it was here that the white rhino was saved from extinction. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 8 - Continue to St Lucia, where you take a boat trip through the Wetlands to view crocodiles, hippo and numerous bird species in their natural habitat. Continue south along the coast to Durban, the thriving beachside capital of KwaZulu-Natal.

Day 9 - Enjoy a city tour of Durban before travelling to the airport for your early afternoon flight to Port Elizabeth where a new guide will meet you. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city or relax by the beach there.

Day 10 - Travel along the coast to the Tsitsikamma National Park and enjoy a walk along the suspension bridge across the Storms River Mouth Gorge, before heading along the Garden Route to the popular resort of Plettenberg Bay.

Day 11 - This morning visit an Elephant Sanctuary where you will have the chance to photograph and interact with these gentle giants. In the afternoon visit Birds of Eden – the largest free-flight bird aviary in the world.

Day 12 - After breakfast travel to Knysna, where you have time to explore before a cruise around the lagoon. Later drive through the spectacular Outeniqua Pass to Oudtshoorn for a visit to a working ostrich farm.

Day 13 - Enjoy a morning tour of Cango Caves before departing Oudtshoorn. Afterwards travel via the panoramic Route 62 to Cape Town and a three night stay at the Southern Sun Waterfront.

Day 14 - This morning head off on a full day Cape Point and Peninsula tour, taking in magnificent beaches, breathtaking views and pretty  coastal villages along the way. This evening is at leisure to enjoy Cape Town independently.

Day 15 - Take a full day Cape Winelands tour. This delightful drive takes you past dramatic mountain ranges, vineyards and Cape Dutch homesteads and stops at one or two local wineries for a tasting.

Day 16 - Enjoy a final morning city tour before reluctantly travelling to Cape Town airport for your return flight to the UK.
