Day 1 - Fly from London to Cape Town by scheduled airline with all meals and drinks included.
Day 2 - You will be met on arrival at Cape Town airport and transferred to the impressive Southern Sun Cullinan Hotel for 4 nights in the heart of Africa’s most beautiful city. The classically styled Cullinan hotel provides elegant and spacious accommodation and first class service. The attractions of the city centre are right on your doorstep, with the shops, galleries and restaurants of the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront a short stroll away.
From the Waterfront you can take a boat trip to Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 26 years. Other optional excursions from Cape Town include tours to the Cape Winelands and Cape of Good Hope and, within the city itself, Stellenbosch Botanical Gardens, Camps Bay and of course the iconic Table Mountain. Day 6 - This morning you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Cape Town airport for your flight to Hoedspruit, gateway to the Kruger National Park. Again you will be met on arrival and driven to River Lodge on the Kapama Private Reserve.
Kapama River Lodge enjoys fantastic views over a dry river bed and countryside beyond. It offers delightful guest rooms with personal and attentive service during your stay. All meals are included and there is also a swimming pool and lounge where you can relax between game activities.
Game drives normally take place in the morning and late afternoon, led by an expert ranger. The area is renowned for its wildlife - look out for elephant, lions, leopard, rhino, giraffe, zebra and much more. The lodge can also arrange elephant back safaris and visits to the Africa Endangered Species Centre.
Day 10 - After a final morning game drive, you will be transferred to Hoedspruit airport for your return overnight journey to the UK.
