Begin your tour with stunning views from the Schwerinsburg Castle, the largest of three castles in Windhoek. Built in 1890, today it is now the private residence of the Italian ambassador in Namibia. Visit the iconic Christ Church, a historic landmark and Lutheran church built following the wars between the Germans and the Khoikhoi Herero and Owambo. Visits are also made to Government Gardens, the Old Fort and the Cape Dutch-style train Station; one of the most famous of Windhoek's monuments and still functioning as a working railway station. The tour concludes with coffee at Heinitzburg Castle
