Naivasha Simba Lodge

Located just 90 minutes away from Nairobi by road, Naivasha has long been the place for those seeking to get away from it all. Joy Adamson, author of Born Free made the shores her home as well as other well-known personalities. Sitting at 1880m above sea level, the air is refreshingly cool and crisp.

The Naivasha Simba Lodge is situated on the banks of Lake Naivasha, the cleanest lake in the Great Rift Valley. This fresh water lake was once Nairobi’s main landing strip for the luxury Flying Boats that came all the way from London. The lodge has pretty gardens, perfect for relaxation whilst leisure facilities include a swimming pool and fitness area.

Lake Nakuru Lodge

Located right in the heart on the wetlands national park well known for it’s abundant wildlife and amazing views of the Rift Valley. It’s approximately two hours from Nairobi by road or around half an hour by private charter flight. Lake Nakuru is renowned for its large flamingo population and the lodge is perfectly located for wildlife and you will almost certainly see zebra, buffalo and giraffe as well as some big cats.

Dinner is often taken under the stars with bush barbeques and African nights to entertain you. There is also a swimming pool and sundeck for a spot of relaxation as well as a bar and wildlife lookout.

Accommodation - Rooms are furnished in a rustic African style and have private bathrooms and views of either Lake Nakuru or the grounds.

Mara Simba

The lodge sits overlooking a spectacular bend on the banks of the Talek, a tributary of the Mara River and is constructed to blend into the surrounding wilderness. The grounds stretch for almost a kilometre along the river bank and are ideal for spotting all manner of game who come to drink.

The landscaped gardens around the lodge are filled with indigenous trees and are home a great variety of birds and butterflies.  You will find there is a swimming pool, perfect for a dip between game drive as well as a restaurant and bar. The lodge is decorated in traditional Maasai style and both the public areas and rooms give you a real feeling of Africa.

Accommodation - The rooms are all arranged in small clusters and all have en suite showers and enjoy fantastic views over the Mara.

The price includes, breakfast, lunch, dinner and two game drives daily.

Governors' Camp

The camp is located in the Masai Mara and sits on the banks of the Mara River, it's perfect if you are looking for top quality tented accommodation in one of the best wildlife locations in Kenya. The riverside setting means it’s not unusual to see hippo and elephant coming to drink or cool off. 

There are no shortage of things to do from game drives with expert rangers to walking safaris and cultural visits. During the migration from July to October the camp is extremely popular because of its excellent location. In between drives relax and enjoy your surroundings and by night share tales of big game adventures around the camp fire.

Accommodation - Each tent has its own private bathroom and by night are lit up with gas lamps making this one of the most romantic and evocative settings in East Africa.

Amboseli Serena Lodge

The lodge sits in the shadow of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro right in the heart of the Amboseli National Park. It overlooks the saltlick and floodlit waterhole meaning that you can view the game even when not out on a drive.

Amboseli is home to a wide variety of Kenya’s wildlife including, lions, buffalo, elephant, cheetah as well as plains game and many species of bird. There lodge has a lovely swimming pool and sundeck, restaurant and bar which are all ideal for passing your time between safari adventures.

Amboseli Porini Camp

This small private camp is located in the Selenkay Conservancy which sits a short distance to the north of Amboseli National Park. The area has until quite recently been untouched by visitors and lies right in the heart of Maasailand meaning that you get a true feeling of wild Africa.

Awake to noisy bird calls and spend your days getting close to nature on game drives with picnic lunches and sundowners overlooking incredible scenery.
