Day 1 - You will be transferred from your hotel to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport for a 50 minute scenic flight to the Masai Mara National Park. These small planes, usually 12 to 20 seaters, afford a stunning view of the Great Rift Valley and barren hills below. You will be transferred to Mara Simba Lodge for a lazy afternoon or perhaps your first game drive.

Day 2 -  Morning and afternoon game drives are included each day. The variety of wildlife in the Masai Mara is staggering, with both black and white rhino, elephant, black-maned lion, leopard, cheetah, baboon, giraffe, buffalo, antelope and much more. The lodge is set on the riverbank where hippo and other creatures congregate to drink. There’s a shaded pool to relax by, a chance to see visiting Maasai dancers and the opportunity for a hot air balloon ride, departing from near the lodge – an unforgettable experience, but make sure you book in advance.
 

Day 3 -  Enjoy a short transfer to the Masai Mara’s red dirt airstrip for your scenic flight back to Nairobi or, timetable permitting, direct to Mombasa.
