Day 1 - Arrive at Nairobi to be transferred to the Jacarnada Hotel for an afternoon at leisure and overnight.

Day 2 - 3 - The adventure begins with a drive to Samburu National Reserve, passing Mt Kenya and crossing the equator on the way. Your two night stay at Samburu Lodge includes morning and afternoon game drives with a chance to spot the big 5, as well as crocodile, herds of Beisa orix and the unique giraffe-necked gerenuk.

Day 4 -  Return south to the mountainous Aberdare National Park for a stay and evening game viewing at the famous Treetops Lodge.

Day 5  - The mountain views are magnificent as you head towards the Great Rift Valley and Nakuru National Park. The pink flamingos are incredible but there are plenty of animals and over 400 species of bird here as well. Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 6 - 7 - South of Nakuru you'll pass 'Happy Valley', 1920s playground of rich and famous colonialists. And then on through Maasai tribal lands for two spectacular days of game viewing in the Masai Mara National Park. There are morning and afternoon game drives and a chance to spot hippos at your lodge's own waterhole. Spend 2 nights at the Mara Simba.

Day 8 - Enjoy a chance to see rural Kenya as you make the final journey back to Nairobi.
