Day 1 - Nairobi
After arrival and transfer to your hotel, relax or take in the sights of Nairobi.
Overnight at the Jacaranda Hotel.
Day 2 - Aberdare National
Leave behind the bustle of the city and head for Nyeri in the tree covered mountains of Aberdare National Park. A stop will be made en route for lunch before arriving at your lodge. The remainder of the day can be spent observing wildlife such as elephant and buffalo from the viewing deck as they emerge from the forest to drink at the waterhole. Your lodge has a night watchmen who can alert you should anything important appear during the night.
Treetops is a rustic stilted Lodge tucked into the verdant forests of the Aberdare National Park. It has the distinction of being the place where Queen Elizabeth arrived a princess and left a queen after the death of her father in 1952. Most rooms overlook a floodlit waterhole and on a clear day, Mount Kenya can be seen in the distance.
The Ark offers cosy and characterful accommodation within the Aberdare National Park. With four viewing decks overlooking a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, there are plenty of places to view wildlife from.

Day 3 - Lake Nakuru National
Descend into the Great Rift Valley today for an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Look out especially for rhino, hippo, leopard, baboons and flamingos around the water's edge.
Simba Lodge is set in beautiful manicured gardens that run down to Lake Naivasha with views of the impressive Mt Longonot in the distance. Resident game roam the grounds including zebra, giraffe and hippos.
Lake Naivasha Country club is a historic lodge that was once the staging post for Imperial Airways that flew from Dublin to Durban. The 12 acres of lawns are shaded by mature accacia and Fever trees and include a swimming pool to relax by whilst on safari.

Day 4 & 5 - Masai Mara
Your safari heads south today for two unforgettable days in the Masai Mara National Reserve. Keekorok Lodge is located in the heart of the reserve surrounded by natural springs and lush plains, a superb base for your morning and afternoon game drives.
Mara Simba Lodge is situated amongst indigenous forest on the banks of the Teluk River that marks the boundary of the Masai Mara Reserve.
Keekorok Lodge has a prime location within the park close to migration routes coming up from the Serengeti. There are attractive gardens containing a swimming pool and a boardwalk leading to a hippo pool lookout.

Day 6 - Nairobi and
As you return to Nairobi you will pass Maasai villages and the local cattle and goat herders dressed in their traditional red.
Departs Mondays and Wednesdays. Prices may vary depending on departure day. Price includes en-suite accommodation, 4WD game drives and all meals from day 2, based on 2 sharing. Flights not included. Discounted flights available from most UK airports.
