Day 1 - Nairobi
Arrive at Nairobi to be transferred to the Sovereign Suites Country House for an afternoon at leisure. Relax by the pool or head into the city to explore.
Located in rolling countryside outside Nairobi, this colonial style mansion contains just 14 suites and offers a relaxing stay before your safari. The elegant interior includes a grand staircase and wood panelled reception rooms, whilst the six acres of grounds include a swimming pool to relax by.

Day 2 - Samburu National Reserve
The adventure begins with a drive to Samburu National Reserve, passing Mt Kenya and crossing the equator on the way. Your two night stay at Samburu Lodge includes morning and afternoon game drives with a chance to spot the Big 5, as well as crocodile, herds of beisa oryx and the unique giraffe-necked gerenuk.
This lodge has one of the prime spots within the park, overlooking the Uaso Nyiro River which during the dryer months acts like a magnet for a variety of wildlife including herds of elephant. The popular Crocodile Bar overhangs the water and is a great vantage point for nightly crocodile feeds, whilst a swimming pool with the gardens offers a place to cool off during those hot afternoons.

Day 4 - Aberdare National Park
Return south to the mountainous Aberdare National Park for a stay and evening game viewing at the famous Treetops Lodge. Observe animals emerging from the forest to drink at the lodge's waterhole.
Treetops is a rustic stilted Lodge tucked into the verdant forests of the Aberdare National Park. It has the distinction of being the place where Queen Elizabeth arrived a princess and left a queen after the death of her father in 1952. Most rooms overlook a floodlit waterhole and on a clear day, Mount Kenya can be seen in the distance.

Day 5 - Lake
The mountain views are magnificent as you head towards the Great Rift Valley and Nakuru National Park. There are plenty of animals and over 400 species of bird here as well. Head to Lake Naivasha for dinner and overnight.
Lake Naivasha Country club is a historic lodge that was once the staging post for Imperial Airways that flew from Dublin to Durban. The 12 acres of lawns are shaded by mature accacia and Fever trees and include a swimming pool to relax by whilst on safari.

Day 6 - Masai Mara National
After breakfast continue through Masai tribal lands for two spectacular days of game viewing in the Masai Mara National Reserve. There are morning and afternoon game drives and a chance to spot hippos at your lodge's own waterhole.
Keekorok Lodge has a prime location within the park close to migration routes coming up from the Serengeti. There are attractive gardens containing a swimming pool and a boardwalk leading to a hippo pool lookout.

Day 8 - Nairobi and
Enjoy the sights and sounds of rural Kenya as you make the journey back to Nairobi. You might like to extend your holiday with a relaxing stay by Mombasa's beaches.
