Day 1 - From Maun board your light aircraft for the scenic flight to Camp Moremi situated on the beautiful Xakanaxa Lagoon on the eastern side of the Okavango Delta where you will spend the next two nights. The accommodation comprises a small number of luxury safari tents each built on a platform overlooking the Moremi Game Reserve.
Day 2 - Spend the day exploring the reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. This part of Botswana is home to some of the most diverse wildlife in the country and you could see cheetah, lion, elephant, buffalo or wild dog.
Day 3 - After breakfast fly to Camp Okavango situated on the remote Nxaragha Island, for the start of your water wilderness experience. You will spend two nights discovering this fascinating and beautiful part of Africa. Your tented accommodation is of a very high standard and will give you a genuine feel of being ‘on safari’.
Day 4 - No visit to the delta would be complete without heading out in a traditional mokoro, travel through the channels of the delta in search of game and look out for abundant bird and animal life. You could take a walking safari in the company of a ranger who will be happy to share their knowledge of the area with you.
Day 5 - After breakfast it’s time to leave this watery paradise and travel fly back to Maun for the next aspect of your holiday.
