Situated in a private reserve in the southern half of the delta, Pom Pom is renowned for its beautiful delta scenery. With contrasting riverine forest fringing the permanent Okavango waterways and open floodplain landscapes dotted with palm trees, this habitiat attracts a mix of plains game and predator.
The camp itself comprises thatch and canvas buildings overlooking a reed fringed lagoon where hippos and elephant can often be seen. Activities include morning and afternoon 4wd game drives and for a true Okavango experience, makoro trips where you gently glide through papyrus fringed water channels with your guide looking out for a variety of wildlife. Bush walks are also available during the dryer months for that 'at one with nature' experience.
