Leroo La Tau

A 35 minute flight from Maun, this luxury lodge offers a unique and relaxing addition to a Botswana safari. Perched high up on the river bank, the lodge enjoys magnificent views over the Boteti River and the Makgadikgadi National Park beyond.

Leroo La Tau translates as 'lions paw', and the surrounding park offers good opportunities to see the 'king of cats' whilst also being at the forefront of conservation with the re-introduction of the White Rhino. During July - November, Zebra and Wildebeest migrate to the river in large numbers placing the lodge in a prime position. Your expert guide will seek out the varied wildlife each day on game drives, whilst boat rides offer a scenic option when water levels permit. Alternatively, lounge around the swimming pool or enjoy the panoramic river vista from the hide built into the bank.
